Homage to a catboat that used to be moored at the West Wharf in Madison, CT. It has been gone for several years, but was a favorite painting subject of mine back then. The vision of this boat always charmed me and brought me joy to paint, especially as the sinking sun cast its warm, pinkish light and the calm water captured beautiful reflections.
