Feeling the warmth of the late afternoon sun, I enjoy watching the light play upon two dories as they drift about close to the shore. Once again, I am drawn to paint these boats... I love their graceful curves, their simplicity and the way the beautiful color of their interiors contrasts with the blue water and the shadows.
